Job Description:

The Solutions Engineer (SE) plays a critical role in building and sustaining customer relationships while driving the adoption of innovative solutions to achieve mission-based outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participates in Due Diligence and Site Survey activities across a breadth of technologies and services.

  • Creates workflow diagrams documenting performance area service value chains & technology mission threads to identify service delivery hand-offs and bottlenecks.

  • Evaluates architectures and processes for opportunities for meaningful and measurable improvements.

  • Develops and reviews Technical Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and other deliverables.

  • Works across organizational lines to provide technical input across contract deliverables.

  • Supports development of product/service roadmaps.

  • Present and advocate for the design and value of a proposed solution with business case to customer stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field, or equivalent experience and certifications.

  • 5+ years hands-on experience designing or implementing solutions.

  • Familiar with DevSecOps and ITIL processes and technologies.

  • Understanding of cloud-native design and agile software delivery principles.

  • Experience presenting technology solutions to small and large audiences.

  • Analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps.

  • Effective in working both independently and in a team setting.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Business case development supporting technology solutions.

  • Intermediate to advanced technical certifications and hands-on experience across multiple technology domains (e.g. Routing, Servers, Storage, Security, Application development, etc.).
