Leidos is seeking qualified Network Access Performance Area (PA) Lead to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. at the Customer site in Ft. Meade, MD. This position be the bridge between the teams for the network technical solutions and processes. There will be excellent exposure to the Program Management Office (PMO) and engineering processes, as you communicate across interfacing organizations. Primary Responsibilities:
The Network Access PA Lead will be responsible for the projects, processes, and performance of the network as it pertains to the following areas: Cabling, Circuits, DMZ, DNS/DHCP, IAP, Organization LAN, remote access/VPN, wireless network, VDI, and overall network infrastructure and monitoring.
Measure user network experience quantitatively to validate service quality
All reporting metrics are delivered to this position and this position reviews for health and performance, identifies trends, and consolidates information for reporting and briefing leadership.
Demonstrate post-migration performance metrics equal to or exceeding pre-migration performance to achieve and maintain customer satisfaction with services provided under DES;
Reevaluate performance metrics as innovation and efficiencies are gained over the life of the contract and proposed revised AQL for performance metrics and additional metrics
Provide recommendations for changes in capacity, technology, configurations, and procedures to better meet or exceed performance metric targets.
Research, evaluate, and recommend additional Common Use IT capabilities (e.g., emerging technology) or service bundles to improve user productivity, customer experience, efficiency, or Mission IT simplicity and effectiveness.
Plan, coordinate, and retire legacy services as required.
This position will work closely with engineering, operations, cyber, customer experience, and business analytics to recommend and build business cases for solutions.
Work with the operational and training teams to update knowledge management documentation, as well as SOPS & TTPs.
Participate in the test events & capture performance data
Our team is responsible for looking across the disciplines for performance, impacts, risks, & cost, as well as ensuring everything is documented from a training portfolio perspective, & metrics perspective ensuring alignment with requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Requires BS and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
This position requires candidates to have a current secret clearance.
Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of network access (as listed above).
Demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables
Experience creating business cases
Communicates with internal and client project team members.
Ability to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Effective communicator, able to capture action items and status clearly and concisely.
Multitask and manage competing priorities.
Work independently, engaging SMEs when needed, to drive work to closure on-time.
Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint.
