Leidos tackles the most challenging national defense problems using advanced signal processing algorithms and data analytics. Primary Responsibilities
- Help develop cutting edge signal processing and analysis algorithms for National Defense
- Research cutting edge algorithms for noise reduction, detection, and characterization
- Help conduct data analysis
- Create efficient implementations in software
- Document results for customers
- Work collegially within a talented team of peers
Basic Qualifications
- BS in physics, engineering, mathematics, or related field and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or a Masters and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Interest in scientific algorithm development, large dataset analysis, detection and characterization, and efficient software implementation.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Fluency in MATLAB, Python, or similar high-level language
- Passion for innovation, problem solving, and achieving technical results
- Ability and desire to learn new concepts
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience programming in C/C++
- Experience with public speaking and/or customer presentations
- Ability to write reports and research documentation
