Job Description:
Leidos is currently looking for a GIS Applications Developer to work with a dynamic team of professionals within our Technology Development Organization to develop commercial energy focused GIS solutions incorporating web based GIS visualizations, spatial analytics, satellite imagery processing. This position is available to support remotely.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and build complex GIS and spatial analytics solutions in the commercial energy sector.
- Collaborate with business user and subject matter experts to cultivate customer requirements to build the design and software product.
- Develop software code; create test cases and deployment plans for software solutions.
- Working individually and collaborate on assignments that cover the full project lifecycle from planning through implementation:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Geographic Information Systems preferably including satellite remote sensing and image processing
- Demonstrated experience developing with Python, GDAL, javascript and UNIX shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate Certificate or Degree in GIS technology
Pay Range:
Pay Range $50,700.00 - $78,000.00 - $105,300.00Covid Guidance
