The AMO Division of the Airborne Solutions Organization has an immediate opening in our Dayton, OH location. This position will apply specific function and working and general industry knowledge towards making an impact on intelligence communities’ systems. Develop or contribute to solutions for a variety of a client's challenges of moderate scope and complexity. The position is full-time at ADF-SW and requires a TS/SCI (with poly).
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze and development of geospatial solutions and product specifications
Research, design, develop, and verify image collection systems
Develop requirements analysis and sub-system architectures and integrate new image processing technology systems
Analyze the design and development of systems and algorithms for the extraction of information from sensors.
Basic Qualifications
BS Degree and eight (8) years of experience or a MS Degree and six (6) years of relevant experience.
Experience with remote sensing
Knowledge of engineering principles
Ability to program and develop engineering systems (preferably Python, Java might be acceptable)
Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC), IT systems design, testing, or IT Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software or hardware integration
Experience with Agile development methodologies and requirements gathering and analysis
Experience with designing and implementing development, test, and production environments
Experience with radar (less important than coding ability, however)
Knowledge of systems integration
Ability to collaborate with other scientists and engineers
Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, Scale
Unix/Linux scripting for running batch jobs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with providing technical guidance to IT development teams
Knowledge of agency or intelligence community (IC) and IT infrastructures
Possession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
