If so, Leidos currently has an exciting opening for you as a Software Developer to work in our Beavercreek, Ohio office.
Your day to day:
-Work closely with customers, senior scientists, program managers, and engineers toward common goals
-Develop algorithms and software interfaces using Python, C++, and MATLAB
-Design and advance machine learning and/or artificial intelligence algorithms
-Create and expand the capabilities of software systems for sensor data manipulation and processing
-Collaborate with Leidos experts to manipulate large remote sensing databases including, but not limited to, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) or Lidar data
-Develop algorithms for image classification and pattern recognition programs
-Port software to alternate computing environments supporting real-time or embedded processing
-Create clear documentation and presentation materials and present technical information to a variety of audiences
This is you:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience
-US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
-Adept in Python, MATLAB, and C++
-1-5 years of machine learning and/or artificial intelligence algorithm experience
-Proficient in Linux virtualization and containerization
-Familiarity with common revision control tools
-Strong communication skills
-Independent worker, self-starter with a proven track record of producing results
-Proficient with technical writing, documentation, and organization
You will wow us even more if you have these skills:
-Active SECRET clearance is desired, with an ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
-Application deployment experience
-Automatic target recognition (ATR) algorithm experience
-Experience processing remote sensing data like SAR or Lidar
