The Leidos Defense Group is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team at our Chesapeake, VA office in supporting the Integrated Logistics Center program which provides logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of parts and material for the US Navy’s AN/SQQ-89 Sonar system.

Responsibilities – Work you’ll do:
Maintaining a correct inventory of US Navy material within the Warehouse Management System.
Work independently or with a team Receiving, identifying material and record keeping functions associated with the receipt of materials IAW with US Navy protocols.
Work independently or with a team scheduling shipments, packing and completing US Navy shipping documentation associated with the shipment of materials both commercially and through the US Navy supply system.
Complete US State Department documentation and conduct export shipments of material to US Navy locations around the world
Load, unload, and move to stowage, freight and piece parts, both manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Work with Navy Supply to fill requisitions to resolve fleet repair orders.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum 1-3 years of experience.
Experience using US Navy Supply system inventory management and practices.
Proficient with computers, printers, laptops, and common Windows applications.
Proficient in the use of common hand tools and power tools.
Ability to manually lift packages up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work 8 hour shifts in support of 24/7 operations.
Experience with R-SUPPLY, DPAS, CAV-II or equivalent DOD Inventory System
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education – Favorable if you have:
Knowledge HAZMAT shipping/storage.
Past experience as a US Navy Sonar Technician (STG), Logistics Specialist (LS) or like military training.
Certified Forklift operator
Clearance Required:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
