Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Network Specialist to support efforts for the NMCI/SMIT program to perform network engineering support for a broad range of programs including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the Navy’s NMCI network. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport portion of the SMIT program, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.
Network Monitoring Specialist is responsible for monitoring events and incidents that affect server and service health across the Enterprise and documenting outage.
The selected candidate will Oversee the infrastructure and network operation by responding appropriately to alerts. Other duties and responsibilities include:
Oversee incident resolution, ensuring appropriate response to escalations.
Coordinate infrastructure repairs including directing remote activities to ensure continuity for service delivery.
Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues.
Provide data center support where appropriate.
Oversee daily shift activities and document in appropriate reporting and ticketing tools and ensure continuity for any outstanding issues. Provide incident notification to Government representatives.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field and 8-12 years of relevant experience
Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Must possess at least two of the following certifications:
CNPP
CCDP
MCTS
MCSA
