Job Description:
Leidos is currently seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Route Traffic Control Critical and Essential Power System (ACEPS) Program in support of the ACEPS II Phase II implementation at select Air Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC) and Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facilities. This position will be responsible for performing project management, design review of the site specific design for each facility and technical review of elements for vertical and horizontal renovations associated with the installation of the ACEPS II Phase II modifications.

Primary Responsibilities:
Performing conceptual structural design, design review including structural steel,
reinforced concrete, and reinforced concrete masonry structures.
Preparation of structural work drawings and structural evaluation reports.
Utilizing AutoCAD 2012 or later, to create presentable and accurate facility and infrastructure plans for
concept and statement of work requirements for project execution.
Cradle-to-grave project management
Coordinating projects among disciplines
Field verifying facility and utility system conditions
Monitoring construction, reviewing submittals, and as-build drawings
Ensuring compliance with contract plans and specifications
Design review and coordination
Performing engineering calculations
Performing technical review of construction bids
Construction coordination and submittal review
Responding to contractor Requests For Information (RFI)
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university
Experience (4 – 8 years) in facility engineering
Ability to work collaboratively with a team of people from across multiple organizations and the
company will be crucial for success.
Public Trust requires US Citizenship or a Green Card and 3 years of residency in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) experience is a plus.
Knowledge of National Airspace systems, facilities, and building systems.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00#Remote
