Leidos is seeking a Master Scheduler to support our TETRAS program in Huntsville, AL. You will develop and maintain both the program level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), as well as discrete, individual project schedules, utilizing MS Project as the preferred tool. You will interface with technical, project, and programmatic leadership on tracking project resource allocations, developing schedule confidence assessments, and developing reusable project schedule templates to accelerate project startups. You will deconflict schedule interdependencies, and track customer dependencies in all schedules. They will develop and produce schedule based program deliverable ASN reporting.

Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing:
In conjunction with the Project Manager, and with input from the cross-functional team, generate, publish and maintain an accurate a Master Schedule, using MS Project, showing the tasks and resources required to deliver on-time, per customer requirements and milestones.
Work closely with PMO, development, operations and other project teams to develop detailed schedules, keep these schedules current and seamlessly integrated into the Master Schedule.
Provide hands-on development of layered schedules detailing how a specific project is progressing including how the project contributes to overarching program requirements and objectives.
Develop and maintain linkages, dependencies and inter-dependencies with related projects.
Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
Identify critical path and task dependencies.
Set and maintain the baseline schedule and track all changes to the baselined schedule on a weekly basis.
Perform ‘what if’ scenarios within the schedule.
Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure they are followed during the development and maintenance of schedules.
Perform schedule estimating through elicitation of team members and other stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, updated actuals and remaining work.
Champion and support continuous Risk Mitigation and Issue Management through schedule analysis.
Generate schedule reports based on planned vs actual work
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of related experiences. Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Project to develop and maintain schedules for IT programs and projects.
Experience working in a functional organizational structure on multiple simultaneous schedules, and with numerous stakeholders and business functions.
Ability to work independently with overall responsibility for the Master Schedule, facilitating the management of the customer projects on time and within cost.
Advanced knowledge of schedule management best practices such as critical path methodology, schedule quality, and schedule execution metrics.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education – Favorable if you have:
PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Desirable.
Clearance Required:
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00About Leidos
