Job Description:
Leidos has an opening for a Systems Engineering MDS Subject Matter Expert to support of the Theater Mission Planning Center (TMPC) Program.
The successful candidate will work with the Functional Lead and Releases Lead as required to develop, analyze and refine system requirements for emerging MDS releases.
The candidate will work with stakeholders to understand requirements, goals and objectives associated with the MDS portion of the TMPC system.
The candidate will articulate stakeholder requirements, develop use cases and identify impacts of new requirements on the MDS subsystem. The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and mission-focused environment is a must.
PRIMARY FOCUS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience working and managing tasks in a DoD Systems Engineering Environment
- Experience with MDS and how is currently used as part of the Tomahawk Weapons System
- Experience working with Government stakeholders, eliciting requirements, and understanding programmatic goals and objectives
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communication applied to customer forums.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 6 years of experience. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Minimum 2 years of experience with MDS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with the Tomahawk Weapons Operations
Pay Range:
Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00Covid Guidance
