Leidos is currently seeking an EEO & HR Compliance Director to join our best-in-class HR team supporting our Workforce Solutions Center of Excellence. The EEO & HR Compliance Director is responsible for the overall EEO & HR Compliance strategy and execution across the enterprise and subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels to makes Leidos a great place to work.
Primary Responsibilities
You will be the go-to person on EEO and HR Compliance. In the role, you will lead EEO and AA Compliance strategy and partner across HR and other functional areas to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws. The position will require the development of strong working relationships to effectively accomplish objectives. You will actively seek continuous improvement opportunities within your scope of responsibility. You will review and provide guidance on complex ADA and religious accommodation requests. You will exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions, be flexible, work with interruptions, work in stressful situations, and shift priorities of work as required. You will review policies and practices to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations. You will anticipate emerging compliance trends and leverage other subject matter experts to implement best practices and pro-actively maintain an audit ready compliance posture. You will be an advocate and champion of compliance and risk management on HR initiatives. You are a team player and will be a strategic partner with Talent Acquisition, Inclusion & Diversity, Benefits, On-boarding, Leave Administration, Compensation and HR Business Partners.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
Thorough knowledge of federal and state fair hiring, EEO and Affirmative Action laws and regulations
Experience delivering training and presentations
Experience pro-actively monitoring, analyzing regulations; identifying gaps; designing a plan to address gaps; partnering with and influencing stakeholders to achieve buy-in; owning and driving implementation of plan; delivering on plan execution OR Demonstrated experience leading and driving change
Broad HR expertise and strong business acumen
Has expert knowledge of HR EEO industry practices, advanced techniques and solutions within this discipline to develop new standards processes and solutions
Demonstrated cross-functional project management experience
Demonstrated experience in reviewing, comprehending, and briefing complex data to stakeholders at all levels
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail coupled with the ability to think strategically and act decisively using a data-informed approach.
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization in a manner that gains confidence and trust
Demonstrated experience with coaching, consulting, and building effective relationships to influence decisions
Willingness to be hands-on with tactical duties and an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
OFCCP audit experience
Legal background or significant experience partnering closely with counsel
Experience collaborating with other compliance related functions within the organization
Experience working for a mid to large size government contractor
Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred with an employment practices/JD/compliance focus
Pay Range:
Pay Range $139,750.00 - $215,000.00 - $290,250.00#Remote
