Leidos is hiring a Virtualization System Administrator to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. An active TS/SCI clearance is required; all work is on-site.
Play a key role in the architectural and design decisions the team makes
Be able to articulate the impact of those decisions to leadership, management and customers including government and military personnel
Provide technical expertise to help team members engineer, deploy, and operate with an understanding of systems and infrastructure dependencies within the enclave
Other responsibilities include providing installation, configuration, and operational use of a variety of operating systems (Red Hat, Windows, ESXi) and virtualization (VMWare)
Experience building and operating a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VDI, preferably with Horizon 8 or above.
Experience working in a vCenter, preferably with ESXi ver 7.0
Windows System Administration experience.
Experience building servers.
Requires Bachelors degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Active US DoD TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
5+ years of IT Systems Administration experience.
8570 IAT II level certification.
Minimum of a Computing Environment Certification: VCP, HBSS ADMIN, Microsoft Azure, LINUX+ or OCP.
Pay Range:Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
