Leidos is seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Analyst with significant experience with Oracle Federal Financial, Delphi and conversion of Oracle Discoverer reports and extractions.

Role and Responsibilities

  • The selected candidate must have advanced skills in programming Procedure Language /Structured Query Language (PL/SQL) and Oracle Federal Financial.  Significant experience with government financial systems such as Delphi or other Government accounting systems is desired, as well as the technical knowledge to investigate and resolve issues with current procedures related to the various Oracle Federal Financial modules. 

  • Writing, troubleshooting, and tuning of PL/SQL Procedures with the understanding of Oracle Federal Financial and Delphi system Modules. 

  • Leverage JDBC/ODBC connections to Delphi to convert current Oracle Discoverer reports/extractions into scheduled procedures, as Federal agencies like FAA plan to sunset Oracle Discoverer.

  • Provide guidance in using RESTful API with current and future software applications to meet current and future system needs.     

  • Investigate system problems as they occur, recommend, and implement solutions. Troubleshoot ETL processing issues, offer and/or implement solutions.

  • Develop, test, and release system solutions into production in coordination with  the Management Systems department.

  • Identify, track, and troubleshoot broader data warehouse issues as they relate to up-stream systems within the Federal Government. Draft system problem reports and submit IT Service Requests through the IT ticketing and tracking system on behalf of Management, as well as track and escalate issues that cannot be resolved internally to FHWA.

  • Test changes to existing software made by others to determine if there will be any negative impacts to the existing BI data warehouse.

  • Assist in identifying BI system changes required when processes are changed by ESC.

  • Assist in implementing changes to Data Warehouse and BI Reporting when processes change.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience. Additional 10 plus years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 8 Years of relevant experience

Pay Range:

Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00
