Looking for a challenging environment with significantly meaningful work? Leidos is seeking a Requirements Manager with systems and software engineering background to support the requirements associated with a software build effort Space Systems Center is pursuing to replace outdated software code with modern, flexible languages. Leidos is focused on finding the best people, processes, and tools that will provide solutions in data integration and fusion, data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and decision support tools.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a Government approved checklist of actions that must be accomplished as a part of transition of ITW/AA Integration of Data Feed artifacts, hardware and software requiring sustainment by the Operations and Maintenance Sustainment Activities Provider, accountability to complete the actions, and exit criteria to demonstrate completion of each action
- Identify real property requirements to support the data feed Integration in the Site Preparation Requirements and Installation Plan
- Identify, track, and resolve technical and programmatic risks
- Provide DO risk information and technical support to the Risk Review Boards (RRBs) conducted by the Sustainment Activities Provider
- Identify and notify the Government Program Manager (PM) of requirements with significant cost or schedule impacts to this DO within three business days of identification
- Document requirements metadata and submit changes to the Sustainment Activities Provider Requirements Working Group (RWG) for disposition
- Document appropriate non-functional requirements and submit changes to the Sustainment Activities Provider RWG for disposition; metadata must also contain all mandatory requirement attributes for Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) entries
- Update rationales, constraints, assumptions, or clarifications in the specifications
- Document (by descriptive title) scenarios, prototypes, trade-studies, and analyses as an appendix to the relevant specification and provide a summary of the associated analysis for cost/schedule driving requirements
- Use a consistent nomenclature for noting requirement gaps and issues
- Update all requirements to be bi-directionally traceable to source documents, between levels (e.g., System to Subsystem to Component), and to verification plans, procedures, and products
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s with 8 years of experience or Masters with 6 years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Currently possess an Top Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Experience with missile warning and missile warning defense
- Experience using Government requirements systems (i.e., DOORS or other) databases
- Extensive experience developing and executing training in technical related fields
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in associated field
- Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
- Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts
- Past experience in Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Global Data Integration (GDI), or other key missile defense programs or areas
Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00About Leidos
