The Enterprise & Cyber Operations Division at Leidos is seeking an experienced Cloud professional to serve as a Solutions Architect and help us accelerate our growing Cloud business.
This role supports our Office of Technology team in developing innovative cloud computing solutions for our Depart of Defense customers. We work with Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google, and Oracle to create differentiating solutions using the latest cloud computing technologies and cutting edge security best practices.
As a Solutions Architect with Leidos, you provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership while working with our ecosystem of Leidos proposal teams and Solutions Architects, Cloud Service Providers, and technology partners. Your broad responsibilities will include owning technical solution development for bids, defining proposal architectures, responding to RFIs and RFPs, developing staffing estimates, developing exceptions expertise in multiple cloud technologies as well as a broad understanding of how applications and services are constructed using various CSP platforms, and being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services. You will lead efforts to capture and share best-practices within the Leidos Solutions Architect Community and gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today.

● Masters anf 15+ years in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience with 15 + years in software development, system engineering or related field or 13 + years of experience with Doctoral degree. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
● Expert level knowledge of one or more cloud platformx (AWS, Azure, etc…)
● 10+ years with specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data and analytics
● Experience developing business proposals / technical role within a sales organization
● Strong problem-solving skills
● Excellent communication both verbal and written
● Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
● AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Security+ certification
● Experience working for or with the US Department of Defense
● Demonstrated experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise-scale software products using a structure system development lifecycle
● Understanding of application, server, and network security within the DoD environment
Pay Range:Pay Range $139,750.00 - $215,000.00 - $290,250.00
