Job Description:
Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of outbound and inbound baggage systems at LLA, working as part of a multi-skilled team covering 24 hours, 365 days a year
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Technical
Fault finding skills on automated PLC controlled conveyor systems
Time Management
Able to manage on shift time effectively
Communication
Good communication skills with customer, reporting and maintenance record keeping via Frontline.
Team Working
Working as part of a team with 2 maintenance technicians per 12 hour shift
Cross Functional Working
Continually build relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve the successful completion of projects
Health & Safety
Always follow and promote Group and Company policies and procedures
Ensure all Company equipment and personal PPE properly used
Equality
Fully Understand and always adhere to the Company’s Equality Policy at all times

Skills & Attributes
Multi skilled technician
Fault finding
Ability to read electrical drawing
Good communication skills
Understanding of PLC / SCADA systems.
Experience
Proven experience of reactive and planned maintenance
Checkable 5 year work history
DBS
Wide ranging technical background
Previous experience in all or some of the following areas:
Automation
Mechanical/material handling
Conveyor systems
Control systems
Electrical power systems
Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 / City and Guilds Electrical / Mechanical or Equivalent
