The AMO Division of the Airborne Solutions Organization has an immediate opening in our Springfield, VA location. This position will be the Lead technical planning, technology, and process integration. Develop. The position is full-time at NCE and requires a TS/SCI (with poly).
Primary Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer you will:
Utilize and execute analyses for a unique GEOINT Collection system
Conduct functional and time dominant analysis that includes detailed trade and interface studies, and requirements allocation to translate customer requirements to meet hardware and software specifications
Lead and manage efforts to survey and understand users’ frustrations, challenges, and feedback with respect to processes and technology related to a new GEOINT data source that was recently made available for exploitation and analysis
Collect, analyze and report these findings to senior government leaders so they can immediately inject changes into the GEOINT analytical workflow to gain end-user acceptance and adoption of the new GEOINT data source.
Design survey questions, based on understanding of GEOINT TCPED process and GEOINT architecture
Meet and engage with GEOINT Analyst users at their work locations as they interact with the new GEOINT data interfaces, data repositories, exploitation tools, and user engagement meetings
collect data on their sentiment, technical challenges training deficiencies and quantify data adoption issues, concerns, and challenges
Prepare and provide the government with regular updates on findings and recommendations
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with twelve (12) years relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Active TS/SCI (with Poly)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with providing technical guidance to IT development teams
Knowledge of agency or intelligence community (IC) and IT infrastructures
Possession of excellent team leadership, development, and client relationship skills
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Pay Range:
Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00Covid Guidance
