The Intelligence Group (IG) of Leidos has a career opportunity for a talented Quality Assurance Manager to support a large government program. You will be expected to utilize your experience to lead and provide hands on quality assurance and quality control functions within the program. You will be responsible for performing audits, generating audit reports, and tracking discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis investigations, and ensuring adherence to the quality standards for the program. The successful candidate will be an agent for change, possess high energy, have a passion for quality, and be self-motivated.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage program instantiation of the Quality Management System
- Perform continuous product and process improvement activities
- Deploy and implement appropriate QMS processes
- Track, analyze and report to program management on trends found in the performance metrics
- Report to higher level management on Quality Achievement and act as liaison for enterprise quality initiatives for the program.
- Implement audit practices for internal processes and products across multiple teams and internal groups comprising a wide variety of skills as well as disciplines
- Ensure adherence to all standards, Leidos policies, and best practices
- Provide the program manager with timely metrics and audit outcomes to gauge progress towards quality objectives
- Create and present quality metrics at the Leidos IPRs
- Other duties as required
- Serves as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
- Evaluates, recommends, and implements automated test tools and strategies
- Designs, implements, and conducts test and evaluation procedures, analyzes test cases and provides to ensure system requirements are met
- Develops, maintains, and upgrades automated test scripts and architectures for application products, also writes, implements, and reports status for system test cases for testing
- Directs and/or participates in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience. Years of experience may be used in lieu of degree.
- Candidate must have a current TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability determination
- Experience managing and developing performance metrics
- Experience leading effective root cause analyses and utilizing results to implement process improvements
- Experience auditing to external quality standards such as ISO27000
- Ability to multi-task, complete tasks without direct supervision, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project)
- Ability to support limited local travel
- Has SAFe 5.1 SAFe Agilist (SA) certification

Preferred Qualifications
- Ten years of experience in a management role on a large technical government contract is highly desirable.
- Experience managing schedule and overseeing resources across tasks and projects
- Five or more years of experience in test or software development on an agile team is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals within the following groups: software development, testing, integration, deployment, and sustainment
- Experience coordinating with customer technical POCs on a large technical government contract is highly desirable
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00Covid Guidance
