Job Description:
The National Solutions Intelligence Group at Leidos is looking for a Network Administrator to work at the Government site in Arnold, MO. Among other duties, the Network Administrator will maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with Network Architects on network optimization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Establish networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.
Report network operational status by gathering prioritizing information; managing projects.
Evaluate security scan findings and applying appropriate patches or updates.
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 4+ years of relevant work experience or a Master’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience. Four additional years of experience maybe considered, in lieu of a degree.
Cisco router and switch hardware experience in an enterprise network environment.
Must be able to install Cisco routers and switches and connect end points to switches.
Switch configurations and verifying routing tables are correct.
Resolving connectivity issues and basic firewall troubleshooting.
MS Office skills, including Excel and Visio.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Must be experienced in Cisco IOS.
Must have 1- 3 years of experience and knowledge with Cisco IOS, NX-OS, routing and switching.
Experience in project management, problem solving, LAN knowledge, networking knowledge, network design and implementation, and network troubleshooting.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: 8570 IAT II
Network hardware configuration experience.
Experience rack mounting hardware, properly dressing cables and patch panel experience is a plus.
Network performance tuning experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00About Leidos
