The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Special Operations Forces Support (SOF) Team, Intelligence Integrator to work at a government facility in Reston, Virginia on the IMAX Contract. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience assisting DTRA-OI-OA Focused Support Decisive Action program in its mission to counter improvised threats. You will provide support to our the client, and forward deployed Special Operations units, focused on countering improvised threats and the networks that finance, build or employ such threats. Duties will include taking structured and unstructured data and distilling the information into a cohesive analytical product for the senior military audience.  You will execute your mission through integration of data from diverse intelligence disciplines, including SIGINT, MASINT, GEOINT, IMINT, and HUMINT to illuminate entities and networks of interest, supporting both conventional and other forces CONUS and OCONUS. Please note: deployments may be required although these are surge requirement driven instead of rotational-based requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role you will work as part of special operations analytical team and produce actionable information for supported elements. You will provide the subject matter expertise that is highly skilled at developing actionable intelligence that feed SOF targeting. You will use a variety of industry standard tool sets, such as Analyst Notebook, Palantir, M3, TAC, NCTC Online, ICReach, SIGINT database, Cultweave SIGINT database, PROTON SIGINT database, ArcGIS, GoogleEarth and industry ISR tool sets. You will work independently and as part of a team with little direct supervision. Your work will result in relevant and timely analytical support to a range of deployed SOF units to include Army Special Forces, USMC Raiders, Navy SEAL Teams, Army Rangers, and Coalition SOF. You will support a deployment schedule that aims to support 4-6 month deployments to potentially austere locations, with 12-18 months of dwell time at home station. DoS salary uplifts while deployed apply.

Basic Qualifications

Security clearance requirement: Active Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance

  • BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience in providing intelligence analysis to Special Operations Force units both at home station and in deployed locations.

  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

  • Be medically deployable and willing to deploy to OCONUS theaters of operation to provide targeting and intelligence support to forward units.

  • Expert knowledge using Analyst Notebook, Palantir, M3, TAC, NCTC Online, ICReach, SIGINT database, Cultweave SIGINT database, PROTON SIGINT database, ArcGIS, GoogleEarth and industry ISR tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a Joint Intelligence Support Element for a Theater Special Operations Command is a plus.

  • Targeting experience in a Special Mission Unit is a plus.

  • Recent relevant deployment experience in a combat theater.

  • Experience with C-IED techniques, tactics and procedures.

  • Experience with Counter-small Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-sUAV).
