Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Program Control Accountant candidate who will perform a variety of critical financial support activities.  The position offers the opportunity to combine financial/accounting expertise and operations.  The work requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple priorities, perform efficiently and effectively under time constraints, and leverage databases, financial information, and office tools such as Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Sage 300, and QuickBooks. The PCA will be responsible for working with team members inside and outside of the project office to complete complex transactions and accomplish goals.  The PCA will also manage the business cash flow in coordination with the sales, budget and regulatory teams. There is a three-year commitment required for this position.

Primary Responsibilities
•    Maintain General Ledger
•    Create/analyze/review financial statement
•    Pay invoices and expense reports
•    Reconcile bank accounts
•    Track teams’ decisions and action items to include coordinating and requesting internal approvals for the project office.  Assist in execution of the decisions where available
•    Assistance with preparing presentations for review by internal board and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
•    Perform monthly financial analysis, variance to budge comparisons, forecasting, cash flow, investments and profit analysis
•    Provide strategic guidance on how to manage cash flow for the business, based on current and projected business needs and regulatory requirements
•    Present complex financial concepts to internal and external cross functional business teams
•    Provide strategic financial transactional and business structure advice
•    Coordinate data requests for external audits
•    Coordinate financial presentations of the current and future state of the business with the cross functional teams for management review
•    Periodic travel required
•    Perform ad-hoc analysis as required in order to provide insight into financial performance

Basic Qualifications

•    Existing TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred but may consider sponsoring a candidate for the clearance
•    Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accounting or Finance
•    Excellent Interpersonal communication and customer service skills 
•    Ability to work independently and within a dynamic team environment
•    Mix of technical accounting and financial program support experience
•    Strong organizational/multitasking skills and experience in a fast-paced environment
•    Computer proficiency and ability to utilize a wide array of office applications including computerized accounting systems
•    Fluent in creating/analyzing standardized financial statement, reconciling bank accounts, reviewing and processing expense reports

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience in due diligence, financial statement audits, corporate tax return prep, and/or forensic accounting highly desired but not required

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $89,000.00 - $120,150.00
