The Life Sciences Operation of the Health Group of Leidos is seeking a Conference Coordinator who will provide meeting planning support to the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The CDMRP is a leading funder of research projects across a broad range of medical fields and military health. This position is located in Frederick, Maryland.

Organization of ~10 in person meetings annually in the Baltimore/Washington DC area
Meeting venue selection and contracting using government guidelines
Organization and management of virtual meetings utilizing the Zoomgov platform
Creation of meeting registration sites using a platform such as Cvent
Coordination of attendee registration and travel, including travel for Government staff members utilizing the Defense Travel System
Preparation and tracking of documents related to meeting approvals, travel, and staff member expense reports
Providing onsite meeting support including coordination of attendee logistics, AV equipment, and any IT requirements
Tracking and reconciliation of meeting costs in coordination with corporate accounting
Coordination of post meeting surveys
Successful candidates will possess:
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Cvent, and Zoomgov
Excellent organizational and time management skills
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Government travel and contracting experience preferred
An Associate degree from an accredited college or university with 2-3 years related experience is desired.
This position requires a U.S. citizen in order to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Public Trust security clearance.
Some local travel within the Washington DC/Baltimore area is required.
Pay Range:Pay Range $46,150.00 - $71,000.00 - $95,850.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
