Leidos is currently seeking a Sr. Software Developer to join our team supporting the Department of Defense testing and training community. If you are interested in writing the software to test the world's premier, cutting-edge weapons systems, this is the role for you.
Weapons systems continue to grow in capability and complexity. In order to enable more complete and rapid testing of modern weapon systems, the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) has invested in the JMETC program to enhance the capability to execute and manage complex distributed testing as demonstrated on the Joint Mission Environment Test Capability (JMETC) network in an operationally relevant environment and increase capabilities of the test ranges across the DoD. One key part of the investment is the Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA) to promote net-centric interoperability testing, and rapid deployment of test capabilities.
We are a team of 20 developers working on the full life cycle from design to user support of applications and collaboration tools that are part of TENA to enhance the capabilities of DoD test and training ranges. This position is responsible the development, testing and integration of web application that serve the TRMC user base of thousands of Test and Training professionals across the DoD.
- Code and debug C++ applications using the TENA Middleware
- Write and present requirements
- Lead design of user support documentation
- Lead design reviews of C++ code.
- Help Jr. Developers learn proper software design patterns using TENA software.
- Design and develop test software according to test plans for functionality and usability
- Able to work with end users to collect feedback on existing tools and bring that knowledge back to share with the team
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
- 12+ years’ experience with C++ development of multi-threaded distributed applications
- 5+ years of developing TENA applications.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- 15+ years’ experience
- Experience with Python
- Experience integrating large simulations
Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
