Project Coordinator:
Primary Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for providing program coordination and assistance to program leadership. Duties may include resource and talent management for teams or managers, meeting facilitation, employee engagement, and coordinating and management of travel. Proficiencies include excellent written and spoken communication, exceptional organization and time management, as well as comprehensive data and technical analysis. In order to be successful, the candidate will possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills, an attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities, and an aptitude for both independent focus and team collaboration. Work performed at a higher level may include evaluating information gathered and developing recommendations. May perform as a generalist in a combination of administrative tasks for a function, line, or specific teams. The Project Coordinator will communicate directly with internal and client program team members.
Works to influence team members regarding solution design, process and/or approaches.
Responsibilities:
Manage resource allocation across projects and teams (developers, analysts, dba, quality assurance, etc.)
Work directly with project leaders to define resource requirements
Work closely with product managers and leadership to help remove resource roadblocks and bottlenecks.
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes and assist with the initial screening of potential candidates
Implement and manage resource changes to achieve project goals
Participates in and/or facilitates project resource review meetings.
Work with program leadership for resource planning, feasibility, and impact analysis on new development projects.
Communicate with staffing suppliers to review client requisitions, provide ongoing feedback, ensure program engagement/adherence and execution of necessary onboarding tasks
Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
Support training, on-boarding, and provide direction to project teams
Work closely with the leadership in order to organize employee engagement events
Identify and facilitate opportunities for internal employees’ training, and professional growth and development
Maintain accurate travel and expense reporting documentation on behalf of the entire project
Work independently to achieve day-to-day objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables
Coordinating with Onboarding manager on training development requirements
Track metrics on individual skills.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
+8 years of Professional experience
Ability to obtain a Secret government clearance after hire date.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with excellent time management skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Good Command of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of MS Project, with particular emphasis on resource planning/tracking
Experience developing a strategic process for talent management.
Prior knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) agencies or Government contracting
Experience with employing change management techniques to prepare, support, and help individuals, teams, and organizations use new technologies and methods.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00#Remote
