The 16 AF Chief of Staff Task Manager will provide analytic, operational, technical, and planning support on behalf of the 16th AF leadership to internal staff directorates and across 40+ subordinate units, Air Combat Command (ACC), United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Joint Force Headquarters Cyber (JFHQ-C), and Joint Staff components to modernize the ISR Enterprise. This includes capability-based planning processes to include documentation of needs and gaps along with recommended solutions. They will perform executive-level analysis and assessments in applying advanced principles, theories, and concepts to a wide range of work in the areas of planning, deployment, operation, and enhancement of advanced technology for the ISR Enterprise. Through capabilities-based planning and assessments, they will evaluate and identify material and non-materiel solutions for advancing the enterprise. Support complex problems and provide solutions that are innovative to establish new theories and practices, leading to new and creative technical solutions to problems. The candidate will also utilize their SME knowledge to analyze and make corrections to incoming and outgoing products for accuracy and applicability and disseminate across 3 Air Force networks (NIPR, SIPR and JWICS). The Task Manger will review and analyze the organizational structure, relations, systems, and processes across the enterprise to improve ISR capabilities through technology, TTP development/modifications, and investments. They will collaborate with the Government in drafting supporting documents for the development, Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) to support the advocacy of the identified materiel and non-materiel solutions, therefore requires strong communication skills both orally and in writing. Additionally, the selected individual inspects and verifies accuracy of key documents such as award packages, official memos, policy waiver packages, and other items prior to General Officer and Executive Level approval.
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI
Bachelor’s Degree
10+ years of related experience.
Previous assignments/work in 16th Air Force
Experience with Task Management Tool (TMT)
Strong communication skills (both orally and in writing).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of 16th Air Force missions and subordinate units
Pay Range:
Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00Covid Guidance
