Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense group has an upcoming need for a Senior Technical Manager with direct nuclear C3 and business development experience. This role will support our U.S. Strategic Command NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) customer who serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, cyber resilience, and technical authority for the within DoD. We have been supporting this customer for over thirty years and could use your talent and fresh approach as we continue to provide world-class service. In this role you will have the opportunity to support several key aspects of the program to include contract management, staffing, reporting, financials, and client management.
Location: Work performed at Ft Meade, MD (DISA Headquarters). Limited telework may be allowable.
Clearance: Active Final Top Secret SCI required.
How much does it pay? Targeted salary range: $155,000-$165,000
What will you do in this role?
Provide technical leadership to senior NC3 stakeholders to ensure the rapid development and delivery of new capabilities in response to validated or emerging operational capability requirements.
Leverage engineering best practices, best of breed modeling tools and existing modeling environments to support standards development, architecture development, experimentation, simulation and analytics, and assessment activities for the NC3 Enterprise.
Assist with evolving the NC3 Next Generation Technical Vision by examining a range of architecture drivers and options to shape the future investment strategies of the Future Triad Communications Systems and Capabilities.
Develop recommendations concerning continuation, modification, or elimination of current National Leader and Nuclear C3 System enhancement plans and assessing current proven solutions and emerging concepts for National and Nuclear C3 Leaders.
Develop and execute a technical growth business plan to identify, prioritize, and purse new business opportunities related to U.S. Strategic Command’s Nuclear C3 Mission.
Enhance collaboration with internal Leidos business leaders on how Leidos core competencies such as cloud computing, data management, and cyber security can be applied to support emerging NC3 domain work for Federal Customers to include USSTRATCOM.
Develop and maintain customer and industry relationships in pursuit of new business.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
BS in technical engineering related field from an accredited university or college.
Minimum 10 years Nuclear C3 experience.
Minimum 2 years business development experience.
Must hold active TS/SCI clearance.
Expertise in the areas of requirements, operations, Intel, and engineering activities related to the Nuclear C3 System.
Experience working with senior nuclear C3 and other NLCC community stakeholders such as OSD, Joint Staff, and USSTRATCOM.
Understanding of the business development process.
The following qualifications are preferred, but not required:
Prior background and/or experience working with Leidos.
Prior experience in Business Development within the defense industry.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00Covid Guidance
