Job Description:
Leidos is seeking an IT PM to support a group providing network security engineering support, for secure and unsecure on-premises, and cloud environments. This position is located in the Herndon, VA area and requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph in order to be considered. This position is located in the Herndon, VA area.
The network security solutions provide rapid, secure, reliable, and repeatable action using COTS hardware and software. The Sponsor utilizes an Agile Framework to plan and successfully complete all initiatives. The Sponsor requires Network Engineering support and IT Program Manager support to replace and consolidate End of Life (EOL) Controlled Interfaces with new Controlled Interfaces. The IT Program Manager use an Agile framework and sprint cycle timeframe to track project task and user stories within JIRA; conduct Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, and Daily Sprint Stand-up sessions; and ensure project objectives are achieved on schedule and meet user requirements. They will also support the Sponsor in all aspects of project management including planning, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to Operation & Maintenance (O&M).
The IT Program Manager will establish and maintain project documentation in JIRA, make all project documentation available to Sponsor project managers and stakeholders, and ensure documentation is clearly written and delivered on schedule. They will also communicate clearly, candidly, and continually with all stakeholders using language that is mutually understood; help identify risks, reporting metrics, and determine whether a project is successfully progressing and meeting its objectives; and provide Project Briefings to stakeholders upon request.
Mandatory Skills:
Requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience leading small to medium project teams.
Demonstrated experience developing and preparing complex technical documents and reports.
Demonstrated experience with Agile, Jira, or Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Engineering Management, Project Management, or a relevant field.
Demonstrated experience using project planning tools such as MS Project, ServiceNow, JIRA, or Confluence.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $101,400.00 - $156,000.00 - $210,600.00Covid Guidance
