We are in search of a IIDR Administrator who has database exposure and understanding of RDBMS, data model and schemas to join our team based in Baltimore supporting the contracts at the Social Security Administration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn new skills, embed with a team, solicit ideas, and feedback, and have good communication skills. They should be able to work independently as well as in a team.

- Participate in collaborative meetings with the customer and fellow team members to implement the best solutions.
- Support the standing standards, policies, and procedures of the customer team.
- Accept other duties as directed by management.
- Provide 24x7 on-call rotation and work on weekend as needed
- Prepare technical documents and presentations.

Required Skills
- Desire to apply your knowledge and grow your skills.
- Support the standing standards, policies, and procedures of the customer team.
- Experience in any scripting or programming language. (Examples: Java, Python, Linux Shell, Windows PowerShell scripting)
- Database Exposure and understanding of RDBMS, data model and schemas.
- Exposure to Structural Query Language (SQL)
- Exposure to log-based Replication technology to replicate data between different DBMS and platforms.
- Exposure to working in Linux environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
- Accept other duties as directed by management

Desired Skills
- Knowledge of Cloud environments, AWS
- Working knowledge of RDBMS (Db2, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Exposure to Version Control Software such as Bitbucket and Git
- Experience with IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR) CDC replication technologies.
- Experience with ETL tools and understanding ETL functionality
- Experience in automating replication tasks and processes using Batch or bash scripting, python. Ansible experience is plus.
- Experience in the installation, configuration, upgrades, and day to day operation of replication technology.
- Experience in the data transformation efforts from legacy to new and alternative technologies.
- Experience in acquiring and replicating data from various legacy and distributed databases including flat file replication.
- An in-depth knowledge of Social Security Administration (SSA) modern development environment
- Preferred experience with software development using modern frontend technologies, relational databases, or SQL
- Working in Agile and DEVOPS environment.

Education & Experience
- If the candidate has a Masters degree, no prior experience in required or the candidate may have a Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of prior experience, Associate’s degree with 3+ years, or GED equivalency with 5+ years.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $44,200.00 - $68,000.00 - $91,800.00#Featuredjob
Covid Guidance
