Job Description:
Leidos is looking for an Archivist/ Records Management Coordinator, to support the nation's nuclear deterrence mission with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Defense Programs. The Archivist/ Records Management Coordinator provides support associated with Records Management activities, including retrieval, storage and destruction of records (electronic and hard-copy formats).
The Archivist will also participate in the protection of integrity, authenticity, and confidentiality of records in accordance with established procedures, and in the oversight of classified and unclassified document management. The Archivist will also inventory, categorize, and transition classified and unclassified weapons records for appropriate disposition to conform to new electronic management environment.
Remote work will be allowed about 50% of the time; the Archivist will be expected to work a couple days a week at the NNSA offices in Washington, D.C.
Active DoD TS and/or DOE Q clearance required.
Responsibilities:
Using advanced computer skills including information management, using and managing data, setting up and troubleshooting electronic processes to streamline procedures.
Maintaining awareness of and competence in headquarters initiatives for communication and information sharing.
Facilitating correspondence and communication including preparing briefings, memos, and correspondence with minimal oversight, as well as accurately compose and prepare effective correspondence and reports.
Assisting Federal staff to prepare briefings, uploading materials and slides for meetings.
Managing schedule of meetings and actions, to include arranging classified and unclassified conferences and meetings.
Using ConcurGov travel system to manage and track travel expenses.
Managing classified and unclassified documents within NNSA SharePoint Portal.
Training staff on new procedures in which to locate documents in order to limit paper waste and maintain safe reduction plan in place.
Managing physical security of classified safe and administering security procedures for access to controlled areas.
Protect integrity, authenticity, and confidentiality of records in accordance with established procedures.
Maintaining attention to detail in a multi-project work environment, with potential frequent interruptions, with competing needs requiring clear understanding of prioritization.
Ability to exercise mature judgment and make independent decisions in accordance with established policies, rules and procedures.
Ability to work in a team environment; interacting with a range of federal and contractor staff.
Required Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' related experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience developing briefings.
Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Excel) with particular emphasis on word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications required and proficiency may be tested.
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Experience with administering security processes that ensured security and integrity of classified systems, hardware and data in accordance with established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Related experience in a government, DOE, or military office.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Nuclear weapons program experience.
Interagency experience.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00Covid Guidance
