Leidos, Inc. is seeking a Project and Program Management Specialist (PPMS) to support its National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV). The NISC IV program provides diverse and critical support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Management Specialist will provide overall training and consultation services for the Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Portfolio Management Team. The position will support a variety of FAA program areas. The Management Specialist should have progressive experience with FAA NAS operations, EOSH Compliance programs, management strategies, task order (TO) execution, and identification and capture of new business opportunities.
The Management Specialist must have progressive experience providing cradle-to-grave management oversight for
On-contract growth and expansion including marketing initiatives, feasibility evaluations, proposed capture strategies, closing techniques, and growth identification processes to assist with the development of the EOSH management staff.
This position will be 100% remote but will require travel to attend in person meetings with the NISC client/management groups at HQ and throughout the Service Areas (SA).
The PPMS will provide training and management support to the entire EOSH portfolio, including, EOSH, Configuration Management (CM), Long Range Radar (LRR), Terminal Facilities, and Unmanned Infrastructure Support (UIS) programs.

Primary Responsibilities:
Candidate must be a motivated self-starter able to work independently. The selected candidate must be detailed, solutions and goal oriented. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal communications with other contractors and management staff, peers, Program management and external and internal customers.
Specific duties and responsibilities may include:
Direct oversight of Task Orders – Enhanced training and support for administration of task orders issued by FAA customers and responsibility for ensuring work requested under the task order is performed properly and within the prescribed time and budget constraints negotiated between the Contractor and the Government for particular program areas.
Evaluate and recommend approaches for executing policies, procedures and goals for the successful completion of work within the task order to ensure adherence to budget and schedule constraints, commensurate with Leidos and Federal policies, procedures and practices, and provide training to subordinates to ensure that such policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
Assist with overseeing a large team of experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments.
Identification of new business opportunities.
Maintain continual interface and communication with EOSH Portfolio managers regarding projects throughout the FAA to identify areas of growth and development of capture strategies.
Regularly interact with Senior TOM, and Deputy Task Order managers, and with customers as required.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Generally has 10+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
- Direct FAA experience as an employee, manager, or contractor.
- Able to handle multiple priorities, both scheduled and unscheduled, effectively.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Prior work experience with US government mangers, employees and programs required.
The position requires broad knowledge of Program and Project Management in government operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with the FAA highly desired.
