Job Description:
The Government Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) - Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group currently has an opening for a Financial Logistics Specialist to work in our Atlanta office.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in performing accounting research and/or reconciliation duties as assigned.
Reconcile material purchases for U.S. governmental agency by generating vendor invoice information and inventory and financial management systems reports.
Develop and manage a complex formulated budget excel spreadsheet for all facilities within the SNS. Provide overall acquisition and budget tracking in support of the SNS program.
Assist in preparing budget for all proposals to include cancellation costs, facilities conditioning, and any additional costs based on contract knowledge and rack space calculations.
Prepare budget and management reports for Recurring Cancellation Fund (RCF); interpret and present relevant financial data as required and validate funds in order to make appropriate recommendations.
Validate invoices for payment and maintain spreadsheet of all approved invoices to be submitted at End of month.
Assist during bi-weekly call with government entity to ensure all budgets are aligned and resolve any issues.
Identify funding shortfalls and related impacts as they pertain to operations and/or initiatives.
Prepare documentation for quarterly funding submissions ensuring all forms have been properly signed.
Validate the forms with all pertinent info to ensure funds are obligated or de-obligated on a monthly basis.
As appropriate, prepared Form 1350 for all purchases needed for Building facilities.
Monitor expenditures for routine requisitions, to include credit card purchases; review all requisitions for accuracy/completeness, track status throughout the purchase cycle; input purchase requests for goods/services; coordinates tracking of purchase orders generated by the contracting office and assist with maintaining the status of all completed/outstanding invoices.
Develop procedures to ensure proper input of requirements into the division inventory management system.

Update and maintain the Share Drive as needed for Warehouse and facilities. Reconcile material purchases for U.S. Governmental Agency by synthesizing vendor invoice information and inventory and financial management systems reports
Perform research by gathering facts, synthesizing data for interpretation and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advance Knowledge in excel
- Knowledge in medical logistics
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office suites to include Access
Pay Range:
Pay Range $52,650.00 - $81,000.00 - $109,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
