More About the Role:
Leidos is seeking an Agile Scrum Master to support related efforts for SMIT, the largest IT services program for the Navy. Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT), Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, the Leidos team will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by focusing efforts under one enterprise network.  The successful candidate will support systems software and hardware solutions development and conduct analysis for the NMCI network.

What You'll Get to Do:
The Agile Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring project requirements and milestones are being met, including working on the Program Increment Planning, Iteration Planning and execution of iteration cycles using Agile techniques. Duties may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for a defined portion of a program. Contributes to establishing and defining program plan requirements, delivery timeline, key performance indicators, including monitoring and reporting performance, to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met.

Other duties include:
•Responsible for conducting Agile ceremonies, i.e., Program Increment Planning, Iteration Planning, Daily Stand Up, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review and/or Sprint Retrospective.
•Has full understanding of concepts, principles and industry practices within Agile discipline.
•Collaborate with external customers, management, subcontractors, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
•Ensure teams comply with ITSM processes and procedures.
•Support the development and maintenance of processes, checklists, and procedures.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
•Requires B.S. Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience (from an accredited college or university and four (4) or more years’ experience in various project management disciplines and/or team building activities on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity).
•Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Secret clearance to start the program.
•Hands-on experience in working with Agile teams supporting DoD networks.
•Ability to multi-task, self-assign work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
•Motivated self-starter with ability to lead and work in a matrix organization and communicate effectively with peers, subordinates and program leadership.
•Strong analytical, communication and troubleshooting skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership.
•SAFe 4.0 Practitioner (SP) and Scrum Master Accredited Certification (SMAC), Certified Agility Health Facilitator (AHF). 
•Travel may be required.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Experience working on Agile Release Trains (ART) delivering information technology projects in enterprise environments.
•SAFe 5 Advanced Scrum Master Certification (SASM), SAFe 5 DevOps Practitioner (SDP).
•Experience working on DoD programs, specifically Navy programs.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 - $135,000.00
