The Life Sciences Division of the Leidos Health Group is seeking a scientist who will work as a productive member of a team that supports process, data, and program management for the All of Us Research Program in Bethesda, MD. This is NOT a laboratory research position.
A position is available for a biomedical scientist with experience managing medical information and clinical products associated with longitudinal studies. The All of Us Research Program (AoURP) collects a wide variety of data from sources including biospecimens, physical measurements, genomic profiles, mobile health devices, and medical histories to describe a cohort of over a million people who will be followed for over 10 years. In support of the program, we are seeking a dedicated individual who can assist in the development, management, and overall stewardship of program governance, collaborations, protocol development, and program policies.
If you join our team, you would be responsible for building and managing collaborations between internal divisions, NIH institutes and centers, or with awardees. In addition, you would be responsible for developing, managing, or supporting a number of internal processes. An important aspect of this work includes understanding the wealth of available healthcare data to assist the program in data sourcing, interpretation, and utilization. PLEASE NOTE: The salary range for this position is $88,000 – $100,000; higher salary range will depend on having significant appropriate experience.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: You need to have an advanced degree such as a master’s or doctorate with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 years of relevant experience. Project management experience is also important to us, so you’ll also need with at least 2 years’ experience with program or project management experience. If you have experience with support of the design and execution of cohort studies, communicating academic and scientific concepts to varied constituencies, and the ability to collaborate with researchers and other stakeholders, we are looking for you!
In addition, we are looking for someone who has experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Programming or administration of Jira and other Atlassian products
- Pediatrics studies or clinical trials
- Running clinical or survey pilots, protocol writing, and IRB submission experience.
- Managing Communications or Collaborations of large groups
This position requires a US citizenship or permanent residency.
Pay Range:Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00
