Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a candidate to serve as a Small Business Analyst on the Corporate Small Business Programs Team. The successful candidate will use his or her expertise in procurement and data analysis to enhance small business supplier diversity reporting to support the Small Business subcontracting program activities managed by Leidos’ Corporate Small Business Programs Office.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Small Business eSRS reporting, Individual Subcontract Reports(ISR), Summary Subcontract     Reports(SSR) reporting activities and preparing Small Business Subcontracting Plans.
  • Work across a wide range of stakeholders and translate business requirements into meaningful data insights
  •  Share trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to develop insights that can help our stakeholders to make effective decisions
  •  Build dashboards and tools that will allow our team and cross-functional partners to self-service their data needs whenever possible
  • Assist with developing and monitoring KPIs for the program and small/diverse goal requirements for projects
  •  Utilize and help improve the tools used within the Small Business Supplier Diversity team and support enterprise solutions with data
  •  Perform ad-hoc queries to support data pulls for stakeholders
  • Support and assist with the development of Small Business Participation Plans and Review of Individual Subcontracting Plans to include Performance Tracking for Leidos Business Groups
  • Support Leidos’ enterprise Small Business Program Small Business outreach activities to include counseling potential suppliers to learn how to do business with the Company and assists in providing access to opportunities.
  • Support and assists with small business subcontracting plan reviews
  • Support and assist with building positive relationships and credibility with diverse advocacy and community-based organizations as well as other professional organizations.
  • Support and assist with strategic initiatives for Leidos Small Business program
  • Promotes the utilization of small business concerns for the attainment of prime contract small business goals and ensuring compliance with small business subcontracting regulations.
  • Travel: 10-25% (CONUS)

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business; or equivalent professional experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or another related occupation
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel in terms of Pivot Tables, Advance Formulas, Decks, Automation, ODBC Data sources
  • 1 – 2 Years of experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Dashboard experience with such Quicksight, Tableau, Python, or other BI reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Sharepoint, ACCESS, Cognos and Oracle Business Intelligence
  • Experience in a US Government or Commercial purchasing environment is preferred.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Costpoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in eSRS reporting, Individual Subcontract Reports(ISR), Summary Subcontract Reports(SSR) and preparing Small Business Subcontracting Plans.
  • Basic understanding of the government acquisition process and knowledge of FAR/DFAR.
  • Experience in government contracting, procurement, and/or strategic sourcing.
  • Demonstrated diversity business advocacy experience in a government contracting entity or similar corporate environment.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $60,450.00 - $93,000.00 - $125,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.


Covid Guidance
