Leidos is seeing a AWS Cloud Delivery Lead for a newly awarded 5 year contract within the Intel Community to lead a team of AWS cloud engineers.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead a team of AWS cloud architects and engineers, Assessment and Authorization (A&A) practitioners and database architects to rebuild and rehost an old database application into a new cloud-native design that is capable of scaling and extending based on future data needs.
As a lead, provide technical guidance to a team that is building purpose built data stores (including RDS Aurora PostegreSQL, S3, MongoDB and ElasticCache Redis) hosted on Amazon’s Commercial Cloud Services (C2S).
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline
- 10+ years’ experience of database development in Defense or secured Government Installations, Automation via Infrastructure as Code and DevOpsSec.
- Strong leadership experience guiding technical teams to successful, on-time delivery.
- Strong communication skills across management levels and functional teams
- Experience delivering briefings to customers from hands-on technical to senior leadership levels
- AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification - DoD 8570 Compliant.
Desired Qualifications
- One or more AWS Certifications: AWS Database Specialty, AWS SysOps Administrator - Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty.
- Experience with DoD or IC mission data systems
- Experience documenting solution architectures using DoDAF views
Security Clearance
- Candidates must already possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $173,000.00 - $233,550.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
