The Leidos Tactical Solutions Team in Littleton, Colorado is growing and looking for a Chief Engineer to lead a team of engineers performing cutting edge systems engineering and integration. Developing system-level solutions for current programs and new business opportunities across the Tactical Solutions Portfolio.
Leading technology strategy and roadmap development for the Tactical Solutions portfolio.
Leading Software and Systems Engineering efforts across the entire lifecycle including operational analysis, requirements, design, configuration and integration, testing, demonstration with the end-user/customer, and operational support.
Leading and mentoring a team of software and systems engineers.
Representing the team and Leidos at industry, customer, and internal events and meetings.
Growing your skillset through mentoring and training opportunities.
Other assignments as determined by the Portfolio Manager.
To be successful in this role you must have the following:

Experience leading and working in Agile Environment and Toolset
Systems Engineering including system architecture design experience
Software-Hardware Integration including working with Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Network Engineering experience using a variety of systems (3G, 4G, 5G, SATCOM, Handheld Radio)
Test Engineering including developing, conducting, and documenting test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Experience developing and leading technology strategy campaigns and technical proposal efforts
Experience with Tactical Assault Kit / Team Awareness Kit (TAK) Development and Operations
Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or related fieldwith 12-15 years of experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Willingness to travel up to 25%
Ability to attain Top Secret Security Clearance

Experience with military Integrated Tactical Network (ITN)
Test Engineering experience for software and network-based systems
Heads-Up Display System Integration and test (i.e. Microsoft Hololens, IVAS) using Unity, .NET/C#
Android Mobile Systems experience
Bluetooth Device System Integration and testing
Cloud Application Engineering and Configuration experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Software Engineering including design, development, configuration, deployment, testing, and debugging
Object Oriented Software Development using Java, C++, C#/.NET
Android Development and Integration
Experience in applying and implementing Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning algorithms and systems for imagery and data analysis.
