The Leidos Tactical Solutions Team in Littleton, Colorado is growing and looking for you, our new Systems Engineer III performing cutting edge systems engineering and integration. This team is growing rapidly and is looking for a highly motivated, fun-loving, techie to fill this key role! We also work a 9/80 work schedule. The position may be located either in Littleton, CO or Tampa, FL. We may consider a remote option as well.
Primary Responsibilities
These are some of the cool things you will be doing:
Systems Engineering across the entire lifecycle including requirements, design, configuration and integration, testing, demonstration with the end-user/customer, and operational support.
Growing your skillset through mentoring and training opportunities.
Complete other assignments as determined by the lead engineer or Manager.
Basic Qualifications
To be successful in this role you must have the following:
Experience working in Agile Environment and Toolset
Network Engineering experience using a variety of systems (3G, 4G, 5G, SATCOM, Handheld Radio)
Systems Engineering experience including system architecture design experience
Software-Hardware Integration including working with Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
Test Engineering including developing, conducting, and documenting test plans, test procedures, and test reports
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field and 4-8 years of experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Ability to attain Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications

Military Operational Experience in Expeditionary-type missions/units
Experience with military Integrated Tactical Network (ITN)
Test Engineering experience for software and network-based systems
Experience with Tactical Assault Kit / Team Awareness Kit (TAK) Development and Operations
Heads-Up Display System Integration and test (i.e. Microsoft Hololens, IVAS) using Unity, .NET/C#
Android Mobile Systems experience
Bluetooth Device System Integration and testing
Cloud Application Engineering and Configuration experience using Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Software Engineering including design, development, configuration, deployment, testing, and debugging
Object Oriented Software Development using Java, C++, C#/.NET
Android Development and Integration
Experience in applying and implementing Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning algorithms and systems for imagery and data analysis.
Network certification (e.g. Cisco, Palo Alto Networks)
