We are in search for a Data Loader with an active TS/SCI clearance to work on site at the National Maritime Intelligence Center, Suitland, MD. In this role you will be managing large volumes of data and preparing it for analytic processing and provide specialized Cyber Security and Information Technology (IT) support for IT resources and users, underpinning Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) analysis and production across the Farragut Technical Analysis Center at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).
THE MISSION
To support and maintain Farragut Specialized Mission IT Systems include support to FARRAGUT TECHNICAL ANALYSIS CENTER (TAC) Acoustic Intelligence (ACINT) Department (TAC-6) Analysts who process data delivered to ONI on portable media. Coordinate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Government POC's, Government System Administrators, internal and external contracting staff, as well as the customers they are directly supporting, for both data loading and desktop support needs.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)
You will fulfill the roles and responsibilities as an Authorized Transfer Agent. This process involves both knowledge of classification issues and attention to detail in reviewing information and following the process for performing a transfer of data. You will need to exercise complete independent judgement and use personal experience and expertise to ensure security of files when transferring them between classified networks, and/or when transferring to networks of higher or lower classification in order to safeguard classified information. Some of your job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
•Making independent decisions when inspecting data for security violations prior to transfer between security domains based on individual interpretation and judgement and in accordance with established security classification guides and procedures.
• Operating peripheral readers, writers, and replicators Load Data from Redundant Array of Individual Disks (RAID), Tapes, Optical Disk, and Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) and perform hashing functions to ensure data integrity prior to mounting, and before removing disk drives.
•Write software, patches, licenses, and updates onto DVD so it can be conveyed to an offline resource or resources on other systems, or security domains.
•Prioritize work to completed based off direction of departmental needs and goals, exercising discretion while performing duties and notify government supervisors, peers and end-users of the results that may impact successful completion of mission objectives.
•Make recommendations to improve processes and hardware in support of system and application operations and maintenance to reduce the amount of time it takes to make data accessible to end customers in a timely manner.
• Provide a Configuration Management support to document and manage the Farragut Specialized IT Configuration Baseline and maintain, secure, support and as necessary upgrade Mission Systems, Hardware, Applications and Software.
• Perform Desktop Support and other System Administrator duties as required.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (minimum job qualifications)
• A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience; additional years of experience allowed in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in creating data products to include tapes, CD's, DVD's and other storage devices
• Application and Windows and Linux operating system trouble shooting experience
• Understanding of file systems (concept of files/folders/symbolic links/permissions, commands like “file” + “mount”, what is FAT/NTFS/etc.)
• Ability to write and interpret basic shell scripts (e.g. bash, csh, etc,)
• Exceptional written and oral communications skill; must be detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently, or under general direction
Certification Requirement (one of the following)
• Security+ce, CCNA, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, CND or SSCP
Security Clearance Requirement
• Current DoD Top Secret/SCI

Pay Range:
Pay Range $52,650.00 - $81,000.00 - $109,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
