The Government Health and Safety Operation is currently seeking a Sr. Technical Advisor to support a large healthcare contract in Baltimore.
Primary Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
Facilitate, development and execution of internal and external outreach and education programs
Facilitate long range strategic planning and short-term tactical planning
Assist with internal approvals by providing rapid response to requests for clarification and additional information
Develop ongoing internal and external communications and reports that will help CPI communicate its mission and accomplishments
Provide subject matter expertise on Medicare, Medicaid and other CMS programs’ operations
Provide subject matter expertise on PI initiatives in CPI
Perform environmental scans to identify CPI program initiatives issues to determine outreach and education needs in order to develop outreach products and subjects for program integrity workgroups
Lead complex projects approved in the Education and Outreach Contract SOW
Coordinate with CMS leadership and internal workgroups for the purpose of communicating CPI initiatives
Act as coordinator with CPI initiatives team members to streamline product development .
Education/Experience:
The Senior Technical Advisor (STA) shall possess a minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing large- scale projects related to health care benefits with a minimum of seven (7) years of first-hand experience with Medicare, Medicaid or other CMS programs in the areas of healthcare program integrity. The STA shall be able to demonstrate knowledge of the statutory requirements on PI initiatives in CPI.
The STA shall possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in management, business administration, communications, marketing or public relations.
All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
