Job Description:
The Joint Force Headquarters Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN) Plans Lead serves as a Manager for planning, strategy & policy, training and exercises, and capabilities & requirements areas within GSM-O II Tasking Number 07. Support oversight includes cyber, strategic & CPT planning, exercise planning, strategy & policy, training & exercises, and capabilities & requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a people leader for personnel supporting the GSMO TN07 Operational Support elements (Planning, Strategy & Policy, Training & Exercises and Capabilities & Requirements support):
Conduct annual performance assessments to include periodic check ins
Validate/approve time charging for both Leidos and vendor personnel
Provide coaching/mentoring to personnel
Develop and Execute Continual Service Improvement technical strategies to modify and enhance operational processes and impact strategic project/program goals and business results.
Support will be to the JFHQ-DODIN J3, J5, and J7 elements, who execute in real time to:
Provide expertise and input to operations planning, future operations planning, future cyber operations in support of the JFHQ-DODIN decision cycle supporting its mission areas.
Provide technical expertise regarding the development of strategic and operational plans resulting from the joint planning process (JPP) that contain a variety of viable cyberspace options, including mission analysis, courses of action (COA) development, COA analysis war gaming, COA comparison and approval, commander’s estimates, and campaign plans, and order development
Participate in COA development for cyberspace operations and planning efforts to deter attacks against the DODIN AOs and Sectors
Provide comprehensive cyber exercise planning support for all assigned events throughout the Joint Event Lifecycle (JELC) by linking training objectives to internal and/or external events in order to meet annual assessment requirements.
Develop strategic and operational plans, policies, governing directives, provide analysis, recommendations, and strategic guidance to enable effective cyberspace operations and implementation of defensive hardening initiatives
Support the activities that are involved in exercise planning, training requirements, and joint standards employed across DoD
Basic Qualifications
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience with various Microsoft technologies such as MS Office 2013 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint
Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (SEC+ CE, CISSP or equivalent)
Motivated self-starter, team leader with strong written and verbal communication skills.
The individual needs to be flexible, dependable and be able to multi-task with priorities
Comprehensive understanding of the Joint Training System as outlined in Chairman of Joint Chief of Staff Instruction (CJCSI) 3500.01and Chairman of Joint Chief of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 3500.03, how it is maintained through the JTIMS, tracked in JLLIS, and interfaces to support the Joint Readiness process through the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS)
Critical/logical thinking skills
Advanced communications and presentations skills (verbal and written) enabling precise conveyance of information across all CC/S/A/FA with command and proper enunciation of the English language
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.
Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
Advanced Certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, GLSC or CASP.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
