The Joint Force Headquarters Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN) Support Operations Lead serves as a Manager for operational support, cyber capabilities and cyber fusion areas within GSM-O II Tasking Number 07. Support oversight includes current operations, readiness management, orders management, circuit management, situational awareness, vulnerability management, and cyber fusion cross functional team activities,
Serve as a people leader for personnel supporting the GSMO TN07 Operational Support elements (Operational Support, Cyber Capabilities, and Operational Planning support):
Conduct annual performance assessments to include periodic check ins
Validate/approve time charging for both Leidos and vendor personnel
Provide coaching/mentoring to personnel
Develop and Execute Continual Service Improvement technical strategies to modify and enhance operational processes and impact strategic project/program goals and business results.
Support will be to the JFHQ-DODIN J3 support element, who execute in real time to:
Stay abreast of operational directives and developments across the enterprise to ensure command leadership maintains situational awareness.
Provide daily operational updates on all concurrent and pending operations and activities
Inform and address CC/S/A/FA headquarter communication and information requirements
Coordinate and assess network defense operations with DoD CC/S/A/FA and monitor and report effect of DCO-IDM operations on CC/S/A/FA missions
Provide surge support for current operations, to include, but not limited to, Crisis Action Teams, JFHQ-DODIN COOP events and Operation Planning Teams
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience with various Microsoft technologies such as MS Office 2013 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint
Hold DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (SEC+ CE, CISSP or equivalent)
Proficient understanding of Cyber Network Defense (CND) in regards to protect, detect, respond and sustain within a Computer Incident Response organization.
Motivated self-starter, team leader with strong written and verbal communication skills.
The individual needs to be flexible, dependable and be able to multi-task with priorities
Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.
Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model, defense-in-depth and common security elements.
In-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and operations of at least one enterprise SIEM platform (e.g. Nitro/McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, ArcSight, QRadar, LogLogic, Splunk).
Experience with malware analysis concepts and methods.
Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
Advanced Certifications such as SANS GIAC/GCIA/GCIH, GLSC or CASP.
Experience in intelligence driven defense and/or cyber Kill Chain methodology.
Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
