Job Description:
Leidos is seeking a Change Management Specialist/Lead with experience supporting large organizations adopt a new HR management system. This position will specialize in human resource processes and work closely with key business and IT customers to develop a sound change management strategy, evaluate the impact of the proposed changes, and guide users through the process.
This position requires the ability to obtain a National Agency Clearance and Inquiries (NACI) clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide project management support as required by the Program Manager.
- Develop a change management framework aligned to the contract scope, to include addressing organizational behavior changes, preparing employees for system and process changes, transitioning employees from current to future state, providing change leadership with coaching activities, and documenting identified change impacts.
- Supervise the change management analysts and create change management documents targeted to a variety of audiences that meet the customer’s complex needs.
- Develop the Change Management Strategy (for example, initiating change, preparing for change, implementing change, managing change, evaluating change).
- Using the Change Management Strategy as a starting point, develop a customized, actionable Integrated Change Management Plan, which will also draw on the project’s communication plan, training plan and user adoption plan.
- Ensure that the activities outlined in the Integrated Change Management Plan are adequately represented in the project schedule.
- Coordinate with the team members responsible for communications, training and user adoption to ensure change management activities are executed as planned, both in terms of quality and of timeliness.
- Collaborate with the customer’s change management SMEs and Project Managers to measure the effectiveness of the user adoption activities and make real-time improvements.
- Participate in planning and executing the system readiness assessment.
- Provide input to the training team to support training materials development and training delivery.
- Support communications planning and the development and dissemination of communication materials.
- Responsible for identifying user adoption metrics and determining evaluation tools to gauge user adoption.
- Provide support for the platform/system customer and stakeholders-related events supporting change management activities.
- Participate in technology assessment and evaluation activities.
- Provide input into the ATO process as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as change management specialist for HR management systems solutions user adoption.
- 2+ years of experience with Workday implementations.
- Process Experience: Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting, Onboarding, Payroll and Time and Attendance
- Ability to successfully communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Communication, Systems Engineering or other relevant field
Substitutions of Education
- 5 years’ relevant experience + Master’s may be substituted for education
- 10 years’ relevant experience may be substituted for education
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: Prosci Change Management Methodology (ADKAR) or similar credentialed change management methodology
- Prior experience supporting programs at Veterans Affairs

Pay Range:
Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
