Leidos, Inc is searching for an energetic, organized, and resourceful program manager who will oversee the execution of a data archival program for a large healthcare delivery system customer. This is a remote role that has some travel requirements for customer and subcontractor meetings. The customer is implementing a new enterprise health record and the legacy applications are archived to this team’s solution.
This role will ensure that the roadmap of applications to archive is understood by Leidos and our subcontractors, that the team executes against the roadmap, and supports the solution long term. A team of project managers, data engineers, and analysts exists to support this multi-faceted, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. The Program Manager must operate against the various roles and responsibilities of all parties to ensure effective and efficient delivery of each archival project and the overall solution. This position will be responsible for managing the program within the cost, schedule, and quality metrics.
What you will do!
- Overall execution of archival strategy and project roadmap
- Creates and maintains an integrated program plan
- Develop quarterly, monthly, and weekly program status reports
- Executes within the program budget, forecasting, and cost management
- Leads Quarterly Business Reviews with customer executives
- Provides expert guidance as an archiving subject matter expert to the customer and the program team
- Builds and manages a high-performing team (recruits, retains, and provides performance feedback)
- Monitors performance of subcontractors to ensure compliance with program deliverables and quality
- Partners with legacy application support teams to provide data extract and analyst SME to execute archival projects efficiently
- Ensures program is executing within Leidos Health Group standards, including documentation requirements, risk management, and financial reporting.
Factors for success!!
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years’ experience or equivalent experience or a Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a large complex program with matrix roles and responsibilities between the program team, subcontractors, and customer
- 10+ years of experience managing large complex programs
- 5+ years’ experience working in large healthcare IT or PMO organization (minimum 20 hospital system)
- 10+ years’ experience transforming EMR, HIS and PMS applications across the enterprise for Healthcare Systems
- Experience archiving a variety of healthcare information technology applications/systems

- You will stand out by demonstrating an advancement your career of managing applications in a complex health system. This would include archiving HIS, EMR and PMS applications to Clearsense, Mediquant or Legacy Data Access.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
