Leidos is seeking a Senior Information Assurance Specialist to plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information.
Assesses system vulnerabilities for security risks and proposes and implements risk mitigation strategies.
May ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
May respond to computer security breaches and viruses. develops, evaluates, and modifies end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.
Implement IA and security standards and procedures to identify, report and resolve security violations.
Develop capability-based IA requirements based upon user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
Validate and maintain the accreditation of the assigned Security Plans.
Help develop System Security Plans (SSP), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation.
It is required that the Senior Information Assurance Specialist has the following qualifications:
BA/BS Degree and 8-12 years of experience; Master’s degree with 6-8 years of experience.
Must possess a current Secret clearance eligibility
Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with on-site personnel and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
DOD 8570.01 IAM III certification
It is desired that the Senior Information Assurance Specialist has the following qualifications:
Secret Clearance with Top Secret eligibility.
ITIL® v3 or ITIL® v4 Foundation certification.
Requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
