Leidos is searching for a Systems Security Engineer with an Active Secret clearance who has direct Validator knowledge and experience utilizing the Navy’s instance of eMASS to work at our customer site at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA.
In this role you will provide specialized support to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Command to include Validation Services and Sustainment Support for Information Technology (IT) Systems/Networks Risk Management Framework (RMF) security
authorization packages and to provide RMF Authority to Operate (ATO) maintenance for the entire range of Information Systems (ISs) necessary for NSWCDD and its associated site NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity (DNA) (located in Virginia Beach, VA) to meet mission and operational objectives.
This work includes a variety of services that facilitate the required steps of the RMF process, the Platform Information Technology (PIT) Certification services and other A&A processes (as applicable) that are associated with validation and sustainment of the cybersecurity authorization packages. Each package is a representation of a particular system (can comprise multiple devices, etc.) or a network (comprising various devices, etc.) that is required to achieve authorization to continue to operate in support of the NSWCDD mission.
THE CHALLENGE (Job Responsibilities)
Assess and document risk, perform security control assessments, and document compliant and failed security controls in eMASS.
Recommend corrections to eMASS record.
Assist with eMASS data entry requirements and population.
Complete a Security Assessment Report (SAR), in conjunction with the SCA, based on the assessment results.
Prepare the SAR Executive Summary, with all assessment results, for SCAL review.
Perform a complete Risk Assessment of a systems or network's security controls, known threats and vulnerabilities.
Support updates to the POA&M based on the assessment results.
Ensure traceability of all vulnerabilities from raw assessment results to the POA&M.
Support the continuous monitoring program as necessary.
WHAT SETS YOU APART (Required Skills/Experience)
Active Secret security clearance
BS and 8+ years with DoD Security Control Assessments, IA Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)/ RMF; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Navy Qualified Validator Level II or III certification
IAM II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO)
Expertise configuring, running ACAS/Nessus, other vulnerability scans
Experience with all phases of eMASS
Pay Range:
Pay Range $94,250.00 - $145,000.00 - $195,750.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
