Job Description:

Leidos is looking for a Jr. Recruiter to find new talent for our rapidly growing business area in our health group. We are looking for a detailed-oriented and resourceful professional who can keep pace with current growth. To achieve this, you will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and screening potential candidates for current and future opportunities. The successful candidate will have an acute eye when reviewing resumes and identifying top talent, be able to possess a clear understanding of requirements and willing to ask questions when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with lead recruiter to provide support in the following areas: monitor requisitions, screen applications in the HRIS system, source resumes from internal mobility program or job boards, and schedule interviews
  • May be asked to consult with the hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s)
  • May be asked to collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • May be asked to collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Manage a candidate tracker and provide weekly status updates
  • Assist with planning, organizing, and promoting our virtual recruiting events when needed

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of working in working in recruiting and/or human resources with full cycle recruiting responsibilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Familiarly with the entire recruitment lifecycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment building relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with any CRM, LinkedIn, and job boards.
  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Talemetry or equivalent system
  • Experience with Workday or equivalent system
  • Prior knowledge or experience supporting government contracts, CONUS and OCONUS
  • Prior experience with conducting outreach for the purpose of promoting events
     

Pay Range:

Pay Range $38,350.00 - $59,000.00 - $79,650.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
