Primary Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of executing on similar programs in the security sector, a good financial background, an understanding of logistics support programs, and an understanding of security screening equipment. The Program Manager will:
- Serve as technical and programmatic liaison to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) with the authority to commit company resources as necessary to ensure efficient and timely program execution.
- Organize, plan, schedule, implement, control, analyze, and report on all elements of the Contract.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:
- Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required. Certification must be current.
- 12 or more years of total experience with 10 or more years in this field.
- Experience managing contracts greater than $25M
- Must have DHS/TSA experience
- Possess or be able to attain a favorable Suitability Determination from TSA
Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate will::
- Have the ability to present and discuss the status of Contract activities and current status of requirements.
- Possess significant performance-based logistics experience, preferably in the security equipment industry
- Possess a clear understanding of risk management and quality assurance and quality control concepts as applied to logistics/screening equipment.
- Have experience with TSA contracts
- Have experience with Six Sigma or similar toolsets, certification preferred
Pay Range:
Pay Range $124,800.00 - $192,000.00 - $259,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
