Come join us in supporting our SSA contracts in Woodlawn, Maryland as a Portfolio Lead Technical Advisor.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Serve as a technical lead on large, complex projects and overall Social Security Administration (SSA) Portfolio.

Responsible for providing technical solutioning for enterprise complex systems for SSA (over 65,000 users).

Conduct meetings with clients, including C-level executives, to develop market insight on how to align Leidos strategy with mission critical objectives of customer.

Provide technical advice/input that impact strategic customer outputs and Leidos business results.

Job Description:

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for SSA mission critical systems impacting customer (public) facing and service delivery applications.

Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Leidos competitively in the marketplace.

Proven track record of successful software integrations at a variety of sizes within the Federal marketplace.

Perform market research and understand the customer’s Strategic Goals and objectives to qualify new business opportunities, including analysis of budgets, technical capabilities required, current customer preferences, competitive environment assessments, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses.

Identify opportunities for growth and innovation and collaborate with program management and technical leaders on Program initiatives.

Interact routinely with various levels of management, functional leads, other staff, and customers.

Skills Required:

Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, division managers, and peers in the Group and across Leidos.

Strong knowledge of SSA software applications, system development tools, and infrastructure.

Demonstrated access to key SSA customers and industry partners.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Strong, respected relationships within the SSA community.

Self-starter and ability to manage time independently without direct supervision.

A good understanding of government procurement and government contract vehicles with demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Education & Qualifications:

•            Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a training-related field or bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a training-related field

•            Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Pay Range:

Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
