Job Description:
Leidos is hiring for Branch Lead to support the Federal Aviation Administration’s CARES Registry. The Branch Lead can perform the basic duties of their job family but will primarily:
- Provides technical supervision of contract staff in the registry.
- Reports to FAA and Contract managers/supervisors/stakeholders on issues concerning assigned workloads.
- Perform training of new staff and cross train employees as needed and ensure all tasks are adequately staffed to be effective.
- Assist the different work/task areas in their daily production.
- Report through appropriate channels issues related to coverage, missing records, system issues, equipment issues, and supply shortages.
- Use databases and applications to enter, revise, calculate, summarize and retrieve data for various reports.
- Examine all incoming freedom of information act (FOIA) requests and monitor FOIA deadlines. Prepare requests for scanning and post fees/update status in appropriate databases.
- Process privacy act requests for airmen records subpoenas, court orders and legal opinions.
- Maintain records held in federal storage system including logging, tracking, packing, shipping, retrieval and other related functions.
- Enter travel vouchers and authorizations for federal employees and communicate to appropriate stakeholders any issues regarding them.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and three or more years of related experience.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Working knowledge of incoming documents received by their branch and appropriate processing/routing for them.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in performance of duties without undue reliance on immediate supervision.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $38,350.00 - $59,000.00 - $79,650.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
